The BIPDT security dog handler course syllabus is 24 hours in total taught over 3 days. The course syllabus covers the following disciplines:

• -Basic control
• -Heel work
• -Agility exercises
• -Down and stay
• -Additional exercises
• -Basic detection
• -Protection

The course also includes and oral examination as well as assessment from an independent BIPDT instructor. Possessing a BIPDT accreditation, will afford companies or individuals the following;
