Wagtail UK can offer BIPDT Patrol Dog and Handler Training for the

SECURITY DOG HANDLERS ACCREDITATION

Since April 2006 all personnel carrying out Manned Guarding duties are required by law to possess an SIA licence.  Whilst there is no licence at this time for Security Dog Handlers we are receiving many enquiries from Companies and Individuals asking for advice on accreditation and training.

Increasingly Local Councils and Authorities will only employ Dog handlers if they have carried out formal, accredited training at an approved training centre. Possessing a BIPDT accreditation from Wagtail UK will afford companies or individuals the following:

INDEPENDENT ASSESSMENT BY BIPDT INSTRUCTOR

The BIPDT course consists of a 24 hour syllabus which can be undertaken over 3 days or over a longer period depending on customer requirements. Wagtail UK will tailor a course to suit your needs.
