CADAVER (HUMAN REMAINS) DETECTION DOGS

4 dogs and handlers passed their final independent assessment on the 16th September 2006.

Global Rescue Services have completed a Cadaver (Human Remains) Detection Dog project.  Four handlers and dogs have been trained a number of various techniques disciplines.  The four dogs are:

Baxter - English Springer Spaniel

Inky - Australian Cattle Dog

Twister - English Springer Spaniel

Gelert - Terrier

During the course handlers have trained in the following disciplines:

Victim recovery

Victims of crime

Basic archeology techniques

Scenes of crime techniques

Preservation of evidence

The instructor for the course is one of the leading UK authorities in Human Remains Detection Dogs. 

We can offer fully trained Cadaver dogs and courses for handlers.  This service is only available to Government agencies such as Police Services and Armed Forces.  A basic Cadaver course is 6 weeks in duration.  We can carry out the training in the UK or Overseas.
