Wagtail UK Limited provide specialist dogs for a wide range of
services. With growth in the use of drugs and of international
terrorism, the demand for well-trained dogs and skilful handlers is
increasing. Dogs are the most reliable and consistent factor in the
detection of illegal substances and firearms and are effective in
searches of people, transport and property.
Wagtail UK are at the forefront in this work. Our handlers have
years of experience in international military and civil operations
and work to guidelines laid down by the Home Office and British
Institute of Professional Dog Trainers (BIPDT). We are a BIPDT
accredited training centre. We Provide highly trained pro-active
or passive response detection dogs.

Collin Singer, Managing Director |
An
experienced dog trainer, handler and instructor. Collin
served in the Royal Air Force Police for nearly 24 years before
founding Wagtail UK Limited. A qualified Provost Marshal's
Dog Inspector, throughout his service career he was involved
in all aspects of dog handling, serving in the UK, Northern
Ireland, Germany, Falkland Islands and Cyprus. His involvement
included a firearms and explosives operational tour with
the Provost and Security Services. In Cyprus he was appointed
Manager and Senior Trainer of a large joint service RAF/Army
Dog Section. He has also worked and trained with dog handlers
from the British Civil Police Forces, HM Customs, HM Prison
Service, Royal Navy, MOD Police, the United States Air
Force, the Greek Cypriot Police Force and other government
agencies.
Founded in
2003, Wagtail UK Limited have rapidly established
themselves as a leading supplier of dogs to the UK
Police, Military and other government agencies.
Wagtail UK are also leading consultants and suppliers of
detection dogs on a worldwide scale including the Middle
East and Mainland Europe and the Far East.
Collin is
a committee member of Global Rescue Services and The
British Police and Services Canine Association.

Louise Wilson Dip HE, Training

Louise Wilson is a 24 year old graduate
of Chester College part of Liverpool University. Louise has
studied a three year degree in Animal Behaviour and
Welfare. She is now qualified with a Diploma in Higher
education (Dip HE). Louise is currently training dogs
in Firearms and Explosives Detection, Passive Response and
Pro-Active Drug Detection and is currently training to be a
Human Remains (Cadaver) detection dog handler. She
co-ordinates and runs our Residential, One to One and Kennel
Club dog training classes.
