Dog handler courses

Wagtail UK have the following courses available:

Explosive detection dog handler course (4 weeks)

• Duration: 4 weeks
• Cost: £2,560 excluding VAT.  VAT £448.  £3,008 including VAT.

Accommodation is not included. Wagtail UK can assist in finding you suitable accommodation near to our training headquarters, depending on your budget.

To secure a place on the course a 50% deposit will be required. The remaining balance to be paid 5 working days before start of the course.

Places are strictly limited, this course will fill up quickly so please contact us to secure a place.

Wagtail UK will carry out a strict vetting process on all applicants to ensure suitability, we reserve the right to refuse an application.

Wagtail UK instructors are highly experienced ex Military ACPO accredited ex Police Instructors. This course will also include a search team and explosives awareness day carried out by an ex Royal Engineers Search Advisor.

Please include a CV or a detailed profile of your background and any previous experience with dogs.

*The length of a detection dog handler course will depend strictly on previous experience. We will advise on the most suitable course for you depending on the details you provide in your CV/profile.
