An experienced dog trainer, handler and instructor. Collin served in
the
Royal Air Force Police for nearly 24 years before founding Wagtail UK
Limited. A qualified Provost Marshal's Dog Inspector, throughout his
service
career he was involved in all aspects of dog handling, serving in the
UK, Northern Ireland, Germany, Falkland Islands and Cyprus. His
involvement
included a firearms and explosives operational tour with the Provost
and
Security Services. In Cyprus he was appointed Manager and Senior
Trainer of
a large joint service RAF/Army Dog Section. He has also worked and
trained
with dog handlers from the British Civil Police Forces, HM Customs, HM
Prison Service, Royal Navy, MOD Police, the United States Air Force,
the
Greek Cypriot Police Force and other government agencies.
Louise Wilson, Director, General Manager
Louise Wilson is a
graduate of Chester College, part of Liverpool University
where she studied Animal Behaviour and Welfare for 3 years, now
qualified
with a Diploma in Higher Education. Louise joined Wagtail UK in 2003
and is
now a director of the company. She is qualified as a Drug and
Explosives
Detection Dog handler. She is also one of very few Cadaver (human
remains) dog handlers in the UK. As General Manager of Wagtail UK,
Louise has many
responsibilities including UK Training Manager of our highly successful
European Operations contract with the UK Border Agency.
Paul Maddocks, Operations Manager and Trainer European Operations
With
experience of 27 years in training and handling dogs, Paul Maddocks is
a major asset to Wagtail UK Ltd. Whilst managing dog sections in the RAF
Paul implemented training programmes and advised on explosive and
firearms. Paul has trained dogs and handlers in search of narcotics and
explosives detection globally (Brunei, Thailand, Nepal, Iraq, Dhaka
& Bangladesh). In his role as a security canine consultant he
developed 2 Explosive Detector Dog Centres to protect a Saudi Arabian
VIP.
Wagtail UK is not his first job where screening of vehicles/freight was
the primary objective. Paul worked in Iraq screening vehicles and
personnel for explosives he has quickly taken the mantle of Operations
Manager France ensuring Wagtail maintains the very high standards
required by the UKBA.
