The trade of Illegal Tobacco is a global black-market operation. Supply is widespread across the UK and although there is a demand for cheap tobacco products there is also a deep concern about health implications. Additionally, the proliferation of illicit goods cost the UK Government (and tax payer) with a two-fold impact to revenue; money lost in tobacco taxation and additional funds needed to cope with growing health fears.
